Dear Members,
On March 27th members elected their new Board of Directors. Together we serve to keep a strong Conservative organization here in Delta - Richmond East, capable of continuing to elect an outstanding Member of Parliament to represent us in Ottawa, and encourage participation in the political process from members young and old. We do the work between elections, and we need your help!
Members will be familiar with our regular printed quarterly newsletters. All of the information in the newsletters is being put here on our web site. While still "a work in progress", each month this site is updated to bring you more information than was previously possible. It also lets us share new types of information, such as video and audio files. In the coming months we will be including policy discussions and polls where you get the chance to provide immediate feedback to your Board of Directors. We can also provide updates and important announcements via e-mail, to those who would like to receive them.
Minority governments can be brought down at any time. We have again opened an office to help us prepare for the next election, whenever that may be.
The youth of today are the Prime Ministers and MPs of tomorrow. We are again providing scholarships to a member of the graduating class in each of the High Schools in our riding. We encourage young members to attend party policy conventions and sometimes, where possible, have provided them with financial assistance.
Times may change, but one thing remains the same... Here in Delta - Richmond East we need your continuing financial support to make things happen. Please consider making a targeted donation to help us meet any of the above needs, or to our election war chest to re-elect our MP, John Cummins.
